Pha Chor, nicknamed the ‘Grand Canyon of Thailand’ due to its distinctive features reminiscent of the Grand Canyon, is a must-see destination. Upon reaching the parking lot, visitors must embark on a roughly 500-meter trek through nature trails, which include paths along dry streams and uphill climbs to reach Pha Chor. Travelers should come prepared with drinking water, suitable clothing, and sturdy shoes, as the terrain consists of soil and the weather can be quite hot. The optimal time to visit is in the morning when the sky behind the canyon displays a vivid blue hue, providing excellent photographic opportunities without backlighting. Alternatively, late afternoons offer a golden light that accentuates the clay sculptures; however, visitors should note that this may coincide with the sunset.
