Experience elephants up-close and personal while feeding and bathing them, learning about herbal treatments, and helping make their herb ‘n’ fruit vitamin balls. At our wilderness elephant adventure, you can walk with elephants while interacting with your new buddies. Tour the Elephant Culture Museum and learn about their heritage, anatomy, amazing abilities, and the profound relationship between these gentle giants and people. Elephant Eco Valley lies in the lush green Maetaman Valley about an hour north of Chiang Mai, Thailand’s “Rose of the North”.
Set in the lush Lower Eco Valley, our Elephant Rendezvous option is certain to enthrall all ages from all over the world. Get insight into the life and history of elephants in the Elephant Culture Museum. Walk with elephants and have a hands-on experience by feeding, washing, and making herb ’n’ fruit balls.
Wat Ban Den Temple
Wat Ban Den Temple, also known as The Chiang Mai Blue Temple, is a marvel in the Mae Tang area, located in the Mae Deng region. Besides its majestic Buddhist temples, the entire temple complex also includes the Tibetan Sutra Tower, the Drum Hall, the zodiac pagodas, and the teak monks’ accommodation, all showcasing a strong Lanna style. It is a beautiful experience to walk around and enjoy the surroundings.
Wat Ban Den is a large Buddhist temple compound to the north of Chiang Mai. Visitors are drawn to its striking colors, the showcasing of religious art and Lanna architecture, and its significance as a site of religious devotion.
Buatong Sticky Waterfall
Exploring the Bua Tong Sticky Waterfall, also known as Nam Tok Bua Tong, is a must-do activity when visiting Chiang Mai. This unique natural wonder is truly remarkable:
Located just under an hour and a half from Chiang Mai, it’s a popular choice for a half-day trip, though its popularity has grown over the years and it can sometimes get crowded. Nevertheless, the journey is well worth it.
Bua Tong Waterfall, or Nam Phu Chet Si, stands out due to its limestone composition and non-slippery surface, adding to the allure of this natural wonder. Itinerary:
- Pick up from Chiang Mai hotel at 08.30 am.
- Drive approximately 1.20 hour to the north of Chiang Mai city.
- Arrive at the Elephant Eco Valley and Change your outfit into the mahout’s outfit (Karen Shirt)
- Learn about elephants in Thailand at the Elephant Culture Museum, the one and only in Thailand.
- Feed the elephants herb ‘n’ fruit balls, bananas, and sugar cane, Help with elephant poo paper production, Get info on herbal treatments
- Walk in the nature garden, and make herb ‘n’ fruit nutritional vitamin balls—the elephants love them!.
- Walk with your elephant to the waterfall for a bath
- Say goodbye to the elephant, shower and Change your clothes
- Lunch at Local Restaurant
- After that we will drive to Wat Baan Den Temple, Wat Baan Den Temple a famous the Grand Blue Temple. Wat Baan Den is an amazingly attractive and unusual Thai Temple. In 1988 the new Abbot of Wat Ban Den set out to create the most beautiful Thai Temple in the area
- Drive to Nam Tok Bua Tong or Buatong Sticky Waterfall and Sticky in nature due to the Limestone deposit on the ricks you can climb up, relax and play in the water here. (The limestone waterfall)
- Return to your hotel 16.30-17.00 pm.
