The drive from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son takes approximately 6-7 hours, with numerous curves and mountain views. It’s a good idea to take breaks along the way to fully enjoy the scenery.

Pricing Details:

9-Hour Vehicle and Driver Hire:
Excludes gasoline, and overnight charges for destinations outside Chiang Mai (Chiang Rai and Pai).
Price includes driver accommodation.
Additional Hours: 300 Baht per hour.
Late Start: If the hire period starts later than 9:00 PM, an additional 300 Baht per hour will be charged.

Gasoline Costs:

The hire period starts with a full tank of gasoline. You will pay for the refill on the return

4-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Chiang Mai to Pai
Driving distance: ~130 km (~3.5 hours)

Drive along the scenic Route 1095, known for its 700+ curves and mountain views.
Stop at Mok Fa Waterfall for a refreshing break.
Visit the Pai Memorial Bridge for historical context and scenic views.
Explore Wat Mae Yen Temple.
Visit Yun Lai Viewpoint for panoramic views of Pai Valley.
Discover Santichon Chinese Village and enjoy local tea and food.

Overnight: Stay in Pai.

Day 2: Pai to Mae Hong Son
Driving distance: ~110 km (~3 hours)

Take a break at a scenic Viewpoint along the route.
Visit Tham Lod Cave and enjoy the beautiful limestone formations.
Explore the iconic Su Tong Pae Bamboo Bridge.
Stop at Baan Rak Thai, a charming Chinese village near the Myanmar border.
